Point Park University Newscast

 

      Michelle teaches broadcast news reporting at Point Park University.  Once a week she joins classes with Maria Kakay and Paul for a live newscast.  Michelle's student reporters are required to submit packages for the newscast and be prepared to introduce their reports live.  

      Students use Michelle's  112 page workbook, "The Wright Way Broadcast Journalism Workbook" to learn the skills needed to get hired in the broadcast news industry.  Michelle and Maria require students to develop an online resume to be prepared before a job is posted.
